Location

Fox Glacier village is the most logical and convenient stopping point on the South Westland Highway. We are just a 2-hour drive south of Hokitika and a 3.5-hour drive north of Wanaka, with each direction having plenty of scenic stopping places & lookouts along the way.

The Rainforest Motel is situated off the main highway, 100 metres down Cook Flat Road. We therefore have a quiet location, but with the benefit of being within walking distance of the restaurants, shop and activity providers.
